Wantok Supply Co. is a small family business based in Brisbane, Queensland, created from a love of Papua New Guinea, family, culture and connection.

Our story is a personal one. Our founder, Edward, was born in Papua New Guinea and migrated to Australia at 18. His father is from Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province. While his mother is from Gaire, Central Province. Melissa, an Australian, has a deep appreciation for Papua New Guinea and its rich culture, traditions and people.

Together, we started Wantok Supply Co. with our own family in mind — especially our children. We want them to know where their family comes from, understand their heritage and grow up feeling connected to the culture that is such an important part of their story.

We created Wantok Supply Co. to help other Papua New Guinean families living in Australia do the same.

We currently offer authentic PNG merchandise and apparel, including Kuti Sox as an authorised distributor. As we grow, we hope to bring together a collection of thoughtfully selected products that celebrate PNG culture and make it easier for families to share that connection with the next generation.

For us, Wantok is about more than what we sell.

It is about wantoks, family, heritage, stories, creativity and pride in where we come from. It is about making space for PNG culture in everyday Australian life and helping our children learn, celebrate and carry that culture forward.
